| About Me | Hi, I'm Marc Breindel, a freelance writer based in San Francisco, California. I designed my first newspaper when I was 9, wrote my first short story the next year, and have been hooked on creative writing & journalism ever since. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley and a Master's in Communication from the University of Texas at Austin. I've worked as a professional journalist for city newspapers, National Public Radio and on the Internet. Cultural diversity fascinates me. I've explored arts & entertainment from Russia to Mexico, Texas to Israel, New York to Montreal to Madrid; from working class neighborhoods to luxury resorts to organic cafes to country barbecues.
